Fraud Filter Features.

Pro:

Keep track of your orders easily, even using Clickbank or Revecom.com. Stop fraud. Stop bogus orders (and keep your merchant account!). Be independent of any processor. Use any processor you like. Use any shopping cart you like. Saves money, and your credibility.

Con:

It's not a shopping cart; it's a shopping cart or order-form wrapper. It 'bookends' the order process. It's an add-on. It doesn't guarantee a valid transaction by itself; it limits fraud.

More:

This program is basically two scripts. The first takes the info from the Fraud Filter form and re-directs the customer to your order form. It bars fraudsters using throwaway email addresses and anonymous internet connections.

Your cart or order form then calls the second script at the end of the transaction. The second script emails you the info. taken by the first script. You can compare what it says, with what your credit card processor says. You can import this data into your customer database.

Both scripts can pass data to other scripts, like a 'daisy chain'.

It's easy to set up. It works with ANY transaction software, because it doesn't need anything from any program. You just set your cart / order form / processor to redirect to the the second script when the order is done.

Domain Grabber Features.

Pro:

• Emails you immediately the expired domain become available;
• Emails a colleague or company to register it for you.
• Checks domains are still in Yahoo and DMOZ;
• Easy setup.

Con:

• Domain has to be registered by hand.
• Only works for .com and .net domains.
• Can only check a max. 100 domains a day, and a max. of 20 per hour* (basically about 4 per hour, once per hour)

*Network Solutions limits the number of queries from the same IP number. This is to stop spamming of their servers. Your IP number will be banned for 24 hours if you exceed their quota. This script is not suitable for high-volume queries of multiple domains!

You want a domain name that's 'on hold' or about to 'drop'. This script helps you get it. You can use it to monitor your own domains, too.

Monitor a domain with high link-popularity or Yahoo listing. This is the cheapest and easiest way of boosting hits to your web site.

Trade links with other sites easily and efficiently. If anyone wants a link, direct them to your Free-For-Some Link-Trader script. They do the donkey work, and you get a decent link on their site automatically.

Robot Rat Features.

Find out who's filleting your site. Record spider IP numbers and User Agents. Saves to a pipe-delimited text file for easy database import. No more wading through log files to see if Altavista or Google have visited.

Mercury Script Features.

Pro:

• Roving webmasters can send personal emails, using Sendmail, from their own website.
  

• Easy to set up.

You may find that you need to email someone urgently, but you can't access your own email client, and you don't want to use a service like Hotmail or Yahoo; you want the email to look professional, and have the Reply-to address to be your business one.

Set up this script, and the recipient will never know the difference. You can cc the email to your main email address, so you can keep a copy.
